Aveda Beauty School in Chapel Hill promotes the belief that education encompasses more than simply learning basic technical skills. Our cosmetology curriculum is specifically designed to prepare beauty school students for the state licensing examination and allow them to learn the technical, personal and professional skills necessary to work in a salon environment.

Post 9/11 GI Bill

Aveda Institute Chapel Hill will begin accepting applications for the Post 9/11 GI Bill October 1, 2011.

The Post 9/11 GI Bill is an education benefit program for individuals who served on active duty on or after September 10, 2001. The Post 9/11 GI Bill provides financial support for individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service on or after September 10, 2011, or individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days. You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the Post 9/11 GI Bill. This program is also known as Chapter 33.
